Hello and welcome
My name is Michelle Waterhouse; I am 17 years old and I live in Western Australia. I am currently Western Australia top Junior Handler. I won Perth State Finals 2008, 2009 and I was honour to receive the chance to represent WA in the National finals for Australia. When I was in Melbourne I met a wonderful group of people from the other states of Australia. I had the best time with these people as we went out for dinner and we did some shopping.
I began showing as my parents breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers, at the time we had our big winning boy Cash “Grand Champion Brindale Bad Influence”. Cash was WA’s first Grand Champion Stafford, he was a once in a life time show dog, he had the attitude when he was in the ring. Cash and my dad were the greatest team when they were together.
We also had WA’s top bitch (at the time), Roxy “Ch Brindale Show No Mercy”. She was our golden girl and overall a really nice bitch.
Sadly they left us in the same year, Roxy was almost 14 years old and Cash was only 10 years old. When they left all our hearts were broken. I was in year seven at the time and they grew up with me and my brother. We still miss them everyday.
I currently own a Siberian husky “Lihuk One And Only”. Solo came from Lihuk Kennels in Victoria, thank you Lisa Hodgson for allowing Solo to come into my life. Everyday is a pleasure being with him. He is a well mannered dog, and he knows right from wrong and over all he is just a star! He hasn’t been shown much as he has been growing up but he has done really well when he has been in the ring. Under the age of 12 months he has won 3 Best of Breeds and he almost half way to his title. Solo is my life and I treasure every moment with him.
I currently handle Akita’s, Alaskan Malamute’s, Dobermann, Siberian husky and Pugs.
